How Context Becomes Compassion
We already keep memory outside ourselves, in photographs, letters, places, music, and relationships, and those things become ways back into it. Digital archives can now hold the relationships among the fragments too, which raises a new question: what kind of context helps a particular person encounter themselves more fully?
